Surviving Divorce: Hope and Healing for the Catholic Family
Surviving Divorce is a 12 week program that was created to bring hope and healing to those who have experienced the pain and loneliness of a broken marriage. It is for the newly separated and divorced and those still struggling with issues many years later. It will help them answer their questions, restore hope, and begin authentic healing. If you would like to sign up, click here. For more information, contact Marion Newsom.
The Grief Support Program is part of the SCS Bereavement Ministry and is a ten-week series designed to assist participants through the journey of grieving the loss of a loved one. Using The New Day Journal by Mauryeen O'Brien, participants will be guided through the four stages of grief. In addition to prayer and scripture readings, the program will make use of activities such as small group discussion, journaling, and other selected readings to help participants move toward healing. The program is offered in the Spring and the Fall each year. Click here for grief support resources. For more information about dates and times for the meetings, please contact the following: Patricia Lawson (Grief Support) or Becky Steppe (Bereavement Ministry).

It provides an opportunity to discuss issues that may arise in that context, recognizing the opportunities and challenges of loving and welcoming every person as a beloved child of God and remaining true to the teachings of our Lord and His Church. This new ministry is slowly being developed. Direct outreach to the LGBTQ+ community will be offered in the future. For more information, please contact Lisa Cates.
