“Be still and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:11
There are few ways to encounter Jesus more powerfully and to hear His invitation to come and follow as His disciple than time before the Blessed Sacrament; for Jesus is truly present in a unique way in the Eucharist. Just as we love to waste time with those we love so Jesus loves to waste time with us.
The Chapel of the Holy Innocents is a 24-hour perpetual Adoration Chapel, where Our Lord is exposed in the Blessed Sacrament so that all may praise, worship, and adore Him at any time, any day. So many graces flow to those who spend time before Christ in Eucharistic Adoration. Prayerfully consider committing to one hour per week. Many hours need a prayer partner as we strive to have two committed Adorers per hour. For information on the adoration chapel, vist the Adoration Chapel page or please contact: Mary Jeandron
After every mass on the second Sunday of the month, prayer teams comprised of your fellow parishioners will be available to pray with anyone for healing, for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in their lives, or for any other intention. The powerful experiences and healings reported by many who experienced prayer ministry as part of the Alpha course led us to provide more opportunities for our parishioners to receive the graces of intercessory prayer. Please know that, if you meet with a prayer team, your intentions will be held in strict confidence; additionally, you can choose not to specify your intention. “Where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” Mt. 18:20. Join with a team in His name to pray with expectant faith for your intentions! For more information, contact Deacon Mike Coney or Joni Maurer.
It is a sacred privilege to pray for our priests! Seven Sisters Apostolate, an international ministry, has a mission to pray for individual priests in small groups of only seven. St. Catherine of Siena is joining in this mission. Each woman chooses a different day of the week and offers one Holy Hour, which can be at any time that is convenient for the lady. It is a blessing for the priest and the intercessor! For more information, contact Debra Guidroz.
